In a desperate bid to escape his burdens, debts, humiliation, eviction, Kwadae hatches a risky plan: he decides to fake his own death. Together with two close friends, Joe Pee and Kay, he orchestrates a fake funeral, hoping to benefit from the donations and “funeral proceeds” that family and loved ones will organize. His goal: to use those funds to start anew elsewhere.
