Coproduit par Cinekap, Canal+ International, EuropaCorp et Nolita, Timpi Tampa a marqué les esprits lors de sa présentation au FESPACO 2025, où il a reçu une mention spéciale du jury. Au Festival Vues d’Afrique à Montréal, le film a remporté trois prix, dont meilleur acteur et meilleur film.
