Co-produced by Cinekap, Canal+ International, EuropaCorp, and Nolita, Timpi Tampa made a strong impression at FESPACO 2025, where it received a Special Jury Mention. At the Vues d’Afrique Festival in Montreal, the film won three awards, including Best Actor and Best Feature Film.
