BETTY SULTY-JOHNSON APPOINTED TO THE OIF

Betty Sulty-Johnson has been appointed alternate member of the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie’s (OIF) Fonds Image de la Francophonie for the 2026–2027 term.

This appointment recognizes her expertise in production, distribution, and international co-productions, built throughout her career in the audiovisual industry.

As the founder of HABEBO STUDIOS, she advocates for purpose-driven creation centered on diversity, authenticity, and human stories.

An independent producer and distributor based in Paris, her work promotes the international reach of African and French Overseas cultures.

This appointment also underscores her long-standing commitment to improving the representation of Black women in the media and contributing to a more inclusive audiovisual landscape.
