In the mountains of KwaZulu-Natal, Fana, a farmer shattered by his wife's departure, sees his life transformed by Nadège, a Frenchwoman skilled in horse training. As their friendship rekindles his hope, Nadège, trapped in a toxic relationship with her lover Dawie, begins to spiral. She flees with Fana, defying the established order in a quest for freedom.
